I'd seen Kate in films like "Pearl Harbor" and her beauty jutted out from the screen to me, but I didn't feel compelled to work on her, until "Underworld" came out. Maybe it was those cold, blue contacts and pronounced canines. That put her on the list. After I saw "Van Helsing" she shot right up on my queue. Ahhh, those long, curly locks, the lowcut gypsy blouse and matching gear, and, oh, a gun and sword. It made my hot Eastern European blood run white hot. Genre or not, I hope she's still on the silver screen for years to come.
